Father's Day Weekend Fun!

This weekend was a fun filled family one, with a special focus on James, our special Daddy in our home.  We were able to escape the heat and go up to Mt. Lemmon and go on Matthew's first real hike and Jonathan's longest hike to date with him walking and they did great!  We went on our favorite easy hike Marshal Gulch/Aspen Loop for about an hour and fifteen minutes and it felt so good up there and got us even more excited about going to Colorado in a few weeks, yay!  And when we came down the mountain we got our first rain of the monsoon!  We get very excited about the first rain here in the desert, ha!
It was a wonderful weekend and just another great reminder of God's love for us through his creation and by getting to love on our Daddies.  I am so thankful for James and the great Daddy he is to our boys and love seeing them play together and act silly.  And I am so thankful for my own Dad and the great example he was for me and Seth growing up and still is and its fun getting to see him be a grandpa now, too!  I got to talk to him for awhile yesterday which was so nice and can't wait to see him in a few weeks in Colorado!  Here are some fun pictures from this weekend.

Someone got pretty dirty!
