Country Bumpkins

Well, we are having a blast on our first leg of our trip to Texas! We are in Bastrop at my parents' new home out on about 6 acres in the middle of the pine tree forest. It is beautiful to be out in "the woods", I definitely am much more appreciative of trees now that we live in the desert, ha!

Jonathan is having so much fun and he is constantly going to the doors and windows pointing and wanting to be outside all the time. He loves his wagon rides around Grams and Papa's land! We also got to visit my Meme, Jonathan's great grandmother's home in Wimberley on Monday, where we explored on her souped up golf cart and Jonathan learned to throw the ball to her two new puppies. He is definitely learning to be around dogs big and small on this trip, though with a little reluctance at first. Well, I will let the pictures do the rest of the talking. Merry early Christmas!
