Happy Half Birthday, Matthew! It is so hard to believe that you are a toddler now, baby boy! You are such a joy and make us laugh so much with your goofy grins and silly smiles, you are a charmer. You also have turned into a little parrot, you try to repeat what we say and do what we do, and you especially have eyes on your big brother all the time, you love him so and want to be just like him!
Some of the things you love right now are: reading books, playing with blocks, climbing, balls, being outside, and playing at the park. You say lots of things but the ones you say by yourself are cheese, no, tractor, hi, apple, mama, dada, and a form of Jonathan, and I know I am forgetting others. You also are still signing, but starting to say the words as well. You are still a pretty good eater, you love grapes, blueberries, peas, carrots, and bread the most and you continue to not like sweets at all, which I guess is a good thing. :) You still cuddle with us when you are tired and are pretty attached to your stuffed giraffe and taggie blanket for sleeping and you still suck on your thumb, though we have been trying to let you only do it before sleep times. We love you so much Matthew and are excited to see you continue to grow more into a little boy this next half of the year!
