This was our first family of 4 vacation by ourselves and it was so much fun! We traveled over to the San Diego area and surprised Jonathan with a trip to Legoland! He was beyond excited and has still been talking about it weeks later, great memories were made!
We also got to go to the beach that first evening, which was Matthew's first time and he loved the sand and water. He was ready to go swimming if we would have let him, but it was a bit chilly. Legoland also had an aquarium on site so we went there first on the second day which was fun for the kids to see all the fish and sharks, that was a first, too!
And we officially entered the world of "real" Legos when we bought Jonathan his first set on the last night there. He got just as excited about that as the park! Such fun to see your kiddos so happy!
