Happy 1st Birthday, Matthew Ryan!! It is super hard to believe that you came into our lives this time last year, this year has flown by but it has also seemed like you have been part of our little family for much longer than that as well! You bring us so much joy and love each and every day, our family and hearts wouldn't be the same without you sweet boy. You are really becoming your own little person these days, communicating more by pointing and grunting and screaming occasionally when you want attention or want something, most of the time its pretty cute! You also are mimicking like crazy especially new noises like sirens on toy trucks and you can say moo for a cow, baa for a sheep, and ruff for a dog now! You still are preferring crawling though have held yourself standing for a little longer now and cruise along the furniture all the time. You will crawl on anything (like rocks!) to get to what you want, you are determined and a bit stubborn, ha! You found you could crawl up stairs this past month while in Colorado and you loved it! Your favorite things are balls, books, and water, you love your bath time! We love you so much, Matthew and we can't wait to see how you are going to continue to change and grow into a little boy this next year!
