1 month

Dear Matthew,
    It is hard to believe you are already a month old! The month went by quickly in some aspects but in other ways it has seemed longer than a month that we have known you, sweet boy.  The middle part of your first month of life was pretty rough since you developed reflux and were a very unhappy and uncomfortable baby, but luckily we caught it pretty quickly and you are on medicine which seems to be helping now. :)  You are a growing boy and in 3 month clothes already and even some of those are going to be too small soon.  You went to church for the first time right before you turned 4 weeks old.  You rolled over from your back to tummy at 3 1/2 weeks old because you still do not like your tummy time!  You also gave your Daddy your first real smile and a little laugh a few days before you turned a month old, it made his day!  This month you were able to meet all of your grandparents and have lots of cuddle time with them when they came to visit you.  We love you so much Matthew and we can't imagine life without you in our family now and can't wait to see how your personality is going to grow and shine more and more as you grow! Jonathan loves you so much, too and still is not tired of giving you lots of kisses! Here are some recent pictures and the start of your monthly pictures.
